A small, fully outdoors Forest School near Saffron Walden runs sessions for children, families and grown-ups. Volunteers are needed to support sessions for home-educated children, which run on Monday and Friday afternoons 12.00-2:30pm.
The sessions focus on providing a space for child-led play and nature connection in a beautiful woodland. Activities include: mud-kitchen fun, stream play, tree climbing, tool use, cooking on and lighting fires, crafts, nature detectives, scavenger hunting, plus so many more usually invented by the children!
Ideally, volunteers will have experience of working with children and a keen interest in nature.
