The local division of a beekeepers' association needs a treasurer, who doesn't necessarily have to be a beekeeper.
The requirements are integrity, honesty and experience of producing accounts for a small business or charity.
The new treasurer, who will produce a set of accounts at the end of the financial year, will take over when the current treasurer steps down in January.
The treasurer does not need to be resident in Uttlesford. The banking is done entirely online and all communications can be digital. Committee meetings are held when necessary but are currently done on Zoom.
