Helping Hands

A new project from Volunteer Uttlesford

Helping Hands is a project reaching out into our communities, putting people in contact with each other as and when they may require a helping hand.

Volunteers are able to give time when they can – ‘Ad Hoc’ volunteering with no requirement for long-term commitment if that doesn’t suit your lifestyle.

Opportunities to lend a helping hand may include face-to-face chats, telephone befriending, an accompanied short walk or shopping trip, simple gardening, a short errand, giving tips on how to best stay safe whilst out etc.
